I enjoy helping students with their classes. Not just with research, but giving advice and being there as a supporter. I was a student before, and I know that school can be very challenging at times, and sometimes you just need a library staff to give you some encouragement.

My life outside of librarianship includes traveling, writing poetry, blogging (I have a few blogs that I follow and like to leave comments on), and watching movies (I love horror films). I was born in Kansas City, MO and from there I have lived in Elgin, Berwyn, Chicago, Sedalia (Missouri), Montgomery (Alabama) and Birmingham (Alabama), Oak Lawn, and now I am currently back in Chicago. I currently have no pets, but I used to have a dog named Pippi. I named her after one of my favorite childhood shows, Pippi Longstocking.
