Virtual Health Sciences Resources at Malcolm X College Library

This guide is a starting point for locating online health science and nursing related resources via the Carter G. Woodson Library. Included within are full text, scholarly articles from databases, credible website information, and eBooks.

Malcolm X College Library Update

The Carter G. Woodson Library, at Malcolm X College is providing Virtual Library Services in response to COVID-19. Our librarians are still here to support our community as we move to online services. Use this guide to learn more about virtual services provided to students, faculty, and the community.

Though the library is closed, you can still take advantage of our E-Book, and Database Collections. Please view the tab "CCC Databases for Health Sciences and Nursing" to view links to content our  database collection. To learn about resources that are being offered for free through publishers and vendors for a limited time through this semester, please see the "Free (Non-CCC Resources)" and "eTextbooks" tabs. Use the "COVID-19 Resources" tab to find up to date information on the pandemic from credible sources. 

You can continue to reach MXC Library faculty by email at MXC-Library@ccc.edu with any questions, 24/7. During regular library hours, you can chat with a librarian virtually, with the new "Ask a Librarian" chat feature, that you can find on the library homepage, and the CCC library pages.
