A common error when using the slicer is a warning that the prints need supports. This can be misleading. Sometimes, prints that the software says need supports can print just fine without them. In addition, the automatic support generator included in PrusaSlicer is pretty worthless, and removing the supports is difficult in the best of circumstances, impossible in the worst of circumstances, and annoying in all circumstances.

This is one such example. The print settings for both pieces are the same, the only difference is in the left print, I added automatic supports. Not only do the supports use way more material, but in this case, chipping away the supports to get to the actual figure was impossible. The figure on the right has some minor imperfections, but even a figure with a small amount of overhang, like this design, managed to print without significant issues.
Having said all that, there are definitely times where adding some supports are necessary, and doing so is fairly straightforward. In cases like that, it is much better to add those supports manually than to rely on the automatic support tool. To do this, follow the instructions in this video. You should use supports in the cases where there's a significant amount of overhang, or when there are sections of the print that aren't supported by the base of the model.
Sometimes, the printer will stop working and spit out the error that "a printer collision has been detected." This happens when the filament escapes the spool. If you get this error, check the machine and make sure the filament is still wrapped around the spool. Rewrapping it should remove the error and allow printing to happen as normal.
We've all been there. Your print starts off going well and you step away. When you come back, it looks like this:

There are two potential fixes. They're not mutually exclusive, so feel free to try both.
Fix 1: Within PrusaSlicer, add a brim and make sure there are enough supports. The option to add a brim is on the right side of the page under print settings. For information about adding supports, watch this video.

Fix 2: Make sure the print bed is clean. Wipe it off with isopropyl alcohol or acetone. I've also read that Windex works well.
