Viewing Results in Kanopy
Keep in mind that items that appear in the results list may not necessarily be directly related to your search. A search will often list results in which the search you entered (film title, filmmaker, topic) is mentioned in the description of the film.
To limit your results, use the filters that appear on the left side of the results page. Results can be filtered by SUBJECT, SUPPLIER (production company), FILMMAKER, FEATURES (featured individuals), LANGUAGE, CAPTION (availability), YEAR OF PRODUCTION, and PUBLIC PERFORMANCE RIGHTS (availability).
You are able to click on the title of any video that appears in the initial list of results and view it instantly. However, below the list of results, you may also see a list of videos that can be requested.
When you click on any of these, you will be taken to a request form that must be completed for approval to access the title. Please allow twenty-four hours for requests to be processed.
