We’re a team of professional English teachers, language learners, and podcast lovers who love helping our students take their English to the next level.
Listening to Culips is like sitting in on an interesting chat between good friends. Your fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, and understanding of common English expressions will improve naturally as you get to know our hosts and learn about interesting topics and trends in Canada and around the world.
In addition to the podcast, we have some great resources, called study guides, that go along with each episode. This includes complete transcripts, detailed explanations, usage examples, discussion questions and even a quiz to test your comprehension. Following along with the study guide while you listen to Culips is the best way to study with us.

Learning English is VOA’s multimedia source of news and information for millions of English learners worldwide.
Learning English began as Special English, which Voice of America launched in 1959. In 2014, our line of products was expanded to include more English teaching materials, and the service became known as Learning English.
