What is the largest classroom in the building? The library, of course! Located on the 5th floor, the HWC Library offers services and resources for all of the HWC community including research assistance, access to course textbooks, books for research or for leisure reading, a quiet space to study, curriculum support, and much more. We are located on the 5th floor of the College. Our Fall 2024 hours of operation are Monday - Thursday from 8AM to 8PM and Friday from 8AM to 4PM. Textbook didn't arrive in time for the first day of class? Not able to purchase a copy of a textbook you need this semester? Did you know that the HWC Library has a Course Reserves collection of current textbooks? Stop by to find out if the Library has what you are looking for. While items in Course Reserve cannot be taken out of the library, we have copiers and scanners available if you need specific chapters in class or at home. Please keep in mind that there may be instances in which the Library does not have a textbook being used in the current semester. Visit us for more information.

You can now manage your library account by clicking on the Sign In link at the top right corner of the online catalog search page. Log in with your CCC credentials (the same username and password you use for your other CCC accounts). Once logged in, you can: view the items you have checked out and their due dates; renew books; view any book requests you have placed; view any fines or blocks on your account; views searches; view any search results you have saved (pinned). If you are a returning student, you may notice that printing has changed in the library. There are two printer / copiers installed at the front of the library, across from the circulation desk, where print jobs sent from library computers can be released. CCC users should have received an email with a pin code (search your inbox for "Uniflow" to find the email). You can also find this information by logging into your Uniflow account. Your pin code can be connected to your CCC identification card so that logging into print jobs requires just the tap of your ID card.
