Open courseware (OCW) is a free, openly licensed collection of digital educational resources from community college and university courses. These often include syllabi, lecture notes, assignments, exams, and sometimes recorded lectures, organized into complete courses and made available online. Faculty can use OCW as reference material for course design, supplemental resources for teaching, inspiration for assignments and activities, or as a foundation for creating their own content by adapting the materials to fit their teaching style and students’ needs.
