Research Appointment Availability
- At the beginning of each semester, go to LibCal (ccc.libcal.com) to set up your availability for research consultations.
- To make sure Zoom is enabled, click on your personal profile icon at the top right; select Integrations, and scroll down to Zoom: Online Appointments & Events to make sure your account is authorized. If not, you will need to authorize Zoom using your CCC username and password, using the link provided.
- Click on Appointments at the top of the page, then click on the Availability tab.

- Click on +Add New Booking at the bottom of the page.
- Set up your availability for the semester, based on your work schedule and when you plan to take breaks, lunch, etc. You can set up all of your availability for the semester at once using the Repeat Pattern option. Make sure to give yourself a little buffer after your shift begins and before your shift ends, and don't include the hours that you will be on a break, lunch, etc.!
- Save at the bottom of the form.
- You will receive an email notification when a student books an appointment with you. Confirm that the time still works for you, and contact the student to reschedule if not. Appointments default to Zoom meetings, so you may also want to find out if the student prefers to meet in person.
- Log in to your personal CCC Zoom room before the scheduled appointment time.
