Black Lives Matter

This LibGuide is here to help connect people with resources and information on the Black Lives Matter Movement

#BlackLivesMatter was founded in 2013 in response to murder of Trayvon Martin. The founders, three black women, Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors, and Opal Tometi, have stated that the mission of the movement is to work for "a world where Black lives are no longer systematically targeted for demise."
