Library Technology

There are several types of technological resources, including assistive technologies, available for use in the library:

  • Approximately 40 desktop computers with access to the internet, Microsoft Office programs, Lockdown Browser, and other software tools.
  • Approximately 10 Chromebook computers that can be checked out for up to 7 days at a time. Please see front desk for more details.
  • Closed-Circuit Televisions (CCTV's) that can magnify text or physical items and offer text to speech in many languages. 
  • Adaptive computer technology including computers equipped with JAWS screen Reader, Fusion, and FS Reader.
  • Two multi-function printer/copier/scanner devices, one color and one black & white.
  • Automatic electric 3 hole punch, electric stapler, electric pencil sharpener.
  • Record players, DVD player, and headphones.
  • T1 graphing calculators.
  • Phone charging cables to borrow.
